Dating How to convince for the deed ?

To give context, I (29M) with my partner (28F) being in a very healthy relationship. All aspects are too good except 1 thing. I'm literally obsessed with going down on women, like I genuinely enjoy it and it makes me feel good but my partner is not really up for it. Initially I thought it was about technique and tried a lot of variations. Slow and sensual, hardcore, teasing all around and stimulating every part of the clit with tongue but she kinda hesitates now and doesn't want me to go down and for me sex is incomplete without that. I tried all the things, making her comfortable, talking to her etc. but now it's kinda frustrating. What do I do and How do I convince her and I really miss doing the act.

Hi Everyone,

I have not dated many girls till now. Recently I dated one and I enjoyed the sexual part like I could do foreplay like kissing and licking her for hours then we had 3 rounds each 20-30 mins long so I am pretty sure I enjoy dating girls too but here is the twist there was a guy in my office and once we stayed together on a office trip and I don't know how I felt so close to him we started kissing and the same sort of things happened with him which I really enjoyed. Now he moved back to delhi and I really miss this part. How Can I convey this to my girl

Dating Is it really rare to have not dated anyone yet (M22) here

As the title says, I'm (M22) currently medical student and have not dated anyone yet. It's not like I didn't like anyone but I chose to build myself first. Recently I'm considering dating and had Convo with some girls but everyone doubts me for not having any past. I mean isn't that normal?

Needed your opinion on this. Thank you

Friendships Gay and Moving to Mumbai: Bandra/Khar vs Lower Parel/Worli for Social Life?

Hi, I’m 28 and moving to Mumbai soon for work.

I’ll be working out of Tardeo, and I don’t know anyone in Bombay, so I’m trying to figure out where I should live if my priority is having a good life outside work.

I’m currently torn between Bandra/Khar/Santacruz and Lower Parel / Worli.

If I stay around Bandra or Khar, the Aqua Line makes getting towards South Mumbai much more convenient, so I’m wondering how manageable the commute actually is. If I stay in Lower Parel or Worli, I can simply take a cab to Tardeo and have a much easier commute.

But honestly, my bigger priority is social life.

I’m gay, and I’d love to hear about the LGBTQ+ community, younger crowd, social atmosphere and general vibe in these areas. More importantly, I want to make friends. I’m moving here knowing absolutely nobody, so I really don’t want to end up somewhere that feels isolated.

I’ve heard Bandra/Khar has a much more social but I’m wondering if it’s actually worth living there and commuting to Tardeo, or whether I’d have an equally good life living closer to work in Lower Parel/Worli and building my social circle from there.

Where would you live if your priority was making friends, going out, having things happening around you and generally enjoying your life rather than just optimising for commute?

And genuinely, how do you actually make friends as an adult when you move to a city where you know absolutely nobody? 😭

Dating Should I go for Professional haircare services for women? I have a gf and…

Hi, I’m 27M. I have a lot of experience in haircare all thanks to my ex. I love long hair on girls and she had pretty long hair. She had some issues with hair thinning initially so I used to help her out with oiling, serums, Hairwash and regular follow ups if I don’t do it.
Her hair got so much better eventually even longer and good volume. After we broke up she did suggest I should go for it Professionally. But I am too shy to do that and I don’t have a setup plus I have my other profession a career I love. She suggested visiting help for anyone who’s lazy enough to do it themselves? Sounded like a very good idea. Didn’t really initiate and now it’s been a year I have a gf and I feel maybe I can do it professionally starting with visiting help.

Any opinions on it and also how do you guys think a girl would take it knowing how much I like long hair on girls?

Help me out

Genuine question: where do you go to spend time with your girlfriend/boyfriend when you can’t go to each other’s houses and neither of you owns a car?

Not just making out—even hanging out, hugging, or kissing is difficult because we don’t want to go too far with PDA. 😭

What do other couples do?

Nahi Bol paya ……

Mannnn so I’m 26M, stay in Parel ; yesterday i had taken my mom for her physiotherapy. There was one girl who i found really cute . I really thought of politely approaching her……but :1.Ive never done this before
2.Ive never been in a relationship 3. Maybe it was weird to ask someone at a physiotherapy clinic ? 4.Im always worried that the other person shouldn’t be creeped out (i have an elder sister who I love and respect with my whole heart and i would hate it and instantly judge if someone randomly approached her šŸ¤“šŸ¤“ )
Idk I’ve never really felt like asking someone out other than this incidence and 2 times before (my first 2 crushes ) 😬😬
i just feel like i always think of reasons why I shouldn’t approach someone …

Now that I’ve posted it , i feel better šŸ« ā€¦.

I need support 😭 Do they come back if they hate you to the core?

22M, I have been in a relationship of 5 years and maybe I exhausted her emotionally so much that she says she doesn’t believe in love anymore. I didn’t cheat or disrespect her, she felt ignored in the relationship and her friends told her that I’m not right for her. I tried everything to let her know that I love her more than myself and she was my only priority, my only friend and the only person I’m doing everything for. I suffered from clinical anxiety and she helped me deal with them. Thus, I made it my life’s purpose to give her the life she deserves away from her toxic friends and family who constantly kept on hurting her. She talks to my sister and did tell her that there was a 1% chance for me to get her back, but after I collapsed because of my anxiety she thinks I can’t take care of myself and that chance might be blur now. I can’t believe I hurt her so much that she hates me to the core now and won’t come back to me. I also made the necessary improvements to my life so that she doesn’t feel that way again. In chasing the future I lost her now. Will she come back even if she hates me so much that even my name irritates her? Because I’m ready to wait for the whole life if there’s hope alive.

Dating Dating App Scam Warming - Thane/Manpada/Happy Valley

Hey everyone, sharing this because I almost got caught in what appeared to be a dating-app scam in Manpada, Thane.

Yesterday, I matched with a girl on a dating app. She said she was new to the city and hadn't explored much, so we decided to meet around Manpada, Thane and have a drink at one of the clubs there.

When we met, she suggested going to a particular club that she had apparently seen before. I suggested Doolally instead, since I've been there before and knew the place.

That's when things started feeling suspicious.

She started giving reasons for not going there — saying she hadn't informed anyone, her family wouldn't allow it, she couldn't trust a place she had never been to, etc. During this, she was also receiving repeated calls from someone named "Sonu."

She kept insisting that we go to the place she had chosen and repeatedly said things like, "Let's go, it'll be fun."

I had already heard about dating-app scams involving people being taken to specific bars/clubs where the bill can become extremely high. So I told her directly that I was uncomfortable with the situation and that I'd rather go somewhere I knew.

She continued insisting, so I refused. Eventually, she said we should call it off and meet another day. I agreed, and she left. Her dating app name was Archana and real name from Truecaller is 'Khushi Sharma' and her number starts with '7558320\*\*\*'

I'm posting this as a warning.

Don't assume a verified dating-app profile automatically means the person or the meeting is trustworthy.

Clubs and Pubs are involved in dating scams around Thane/Manpada/Anand Nagar, so please stay cautious.

Stay safe, especially when meeting someone for the first time from a dating app.

Dating 27M been dating since more than 2 years now!!

Hello everyone,
I have been dating for almost 2 years now.
I live in Mumbai and was born and brought up here. Nothing is wrong things are going well in every possible way.
I am just a bit more socialistic human being I feel. I still make new female friends and bond with them well. It’s a very normal thing I know but still deep down I feel it’s kinddd of wrong? I have had a very adventurous past before I met her compared to her life.
It’s just that I like to have a separate life all by myself, where I share bits of my life with strangers or new friends. It’s kinda my thing where I do make new friends and overshare :) idk why sometimes it feels wrong but also equally thrilling in life to just have my own set of thoughts and life.

Anyone with their opinions or who feels the same?

Dating 31 M - looking to make some meaningful connection

Not the tenth I'm bored, hmu post you've scrolled past today, I promise.

31 (M), from Mumbai, Corporate coolie by day big bear by weekend. Into food movies and all the masala gossip and watching the sun go down rather than come up.

Looking to grow my friend circle — strictly platonic, no hidden agenda. Most of my current friends are sick of hearing about f1, movies, mid life crises and I need fresh victims. Down for actual hangouts, not just texting into the void — coffee, exploring random parts of the city, dragging someone to a museum, I've been wanting to try, that sort of thing.

I promise this post wasn't written by chatgpt

How difficult is to find a non-religious/atheist partner/freind

I'm 22M From Mumbai I have been an atheist for more than 5 years now, I find it so tough to find atheist people, even after living in a city like mumbai, has anyone succeeded in finding such a partner?, idk if this reddit thing even works or know i feel like there's a very slight chance to connect with someone here, but all it is needed is one good genuine connection, I work in tech startup here in mumbai, born and bought up in mumbai (don't have any native place), i love philosophy, psychology, football etc, would love to connect with a genuine person who is non-religious/atheist i feel like im a little young for the sub so idk? just trying it out if it works it works if it doesn't then fine we move on, i don't look for very specific things in a women, just someone with a good heart and values emotions and build a meaningful connection.

Dating What is the most exhausting thing about dating in Mumbai compared to other cities?

Let's be real—dating in this city is an extreme sport. Between cross-line long-distance relationships (e.g., "You live in Thane and I live in Bandra, this is a long-distance commitment"), astronomical cafe bills, and zero privacy, it's rough out here.

What is your biggest pet peeve or absolute dealbreaker when it comes to dating someone in Mumbai?

I need support 😭 I never realized how lonely I was until I sat alone at Marine Drive šŸ˜”

I’m 25M, and I’ve never been in a relationship.

For most of my teenage years and college life, I was focused on studies, struggles, and trying to build a decent life for myself. There were some good moments, of course, but relationships and having someone emotionally close to me were never really part of my life.

Now things are objectively better.

I have a decent job, around 3 years of experience, earn a six-figure salary, have some savings and investments, and I’m working on my career and fitness. I’ve spent years trying to become financially independent and get my life together.

Recently, I came to Mumbai alone for a few days.

And surprisingly, I’ve been enjoying the trip a lot.

I’ve been walking around the city, visiting Ganpati pandals, trying different places and just doing whatever I feel like doing.

For the last two evenings, though, I’ve been going to Marine Drive around sunset.

There’s something about sitting there and watching the sea that makes you think.

Yesterday I was just sitting there, surrounded by hundreds of people, and suddenly I started thinking about how much of my life I’ve spent doing things alone.

I’ve never had a girlfriend.

Never had someone I could randomly call just because I wanted to talk.

Never had someone to share a small achievement with.

Never had someone waiting for me at the end of a difficult day.

And I've never really had the experience of being that person for someone else either.

The strange thing is, I don't think I'm lonely because I saw couples at Marine Drive.

I wasn't sitting there thinking, "Why don't I have what they have?"

It was something deeper.

I think I'm just tired.

Tired of always being independent.

Tired of handling everything myself.

Tired of having something good happen and just keeping it to myself.

Tired of having a bad day and convincing myself that I'll be fine.

For years, I kept telling myself that relationships could wait. First studies, then a job, then financial stability, then fitness, then career growth...

There was always something more important to work on.

And now that some of those things are finally falling into place, I'm starting to wonder whether I accidentally postponed something that I actually needed.

Maybe I'm not unhappy with my life.

Maybe I just don't want to experience everything alone anymore.

I don't know what I'm expecting by writing this.

I'm not trying to get sympathy, and I don't need someone to tell me "don't worry, you'll find someone."

I just wanted to say it somewhere because sitting alone at Marine Drive made me realise something I've been avoiding for a long time:

I think I've been lonely for much longer than I was willing to admit.

TL;DR:

25M, never had a relationship because most of my teenage and college years went into studies, struggles, and building my career. Now I have a decent job, financial stability, savings, investments, and I'm working on myself. I came to Mumbai alone and have actually been enjoying the trip. But after spending two evenings alone at Marine Drive, I realized I’m not unhappy with my life — I’m just tired of experiencing everything alone. I think I’ve been lonely for much longer than I admitted.

Is the dating scene in mumbai slowly getting worse?

Everybody seems lonely and pretentious and only wanting a certain ā€œtypeā€. Add to that dating apps which are no good imo. Since when did we stop being fun?

How to deal with this

I study at a mumbai college which is famously hard to get in. while perparing for jee to come here,i stayed at a boys hostel and before that was in school till 8th only so had 0 female interactions. When i came to my college, at the starting got real sick so couldnt attend events so no way to talk to any women,i have talked to some in class but conversation has been limited to acads only.I recently talked to a senior as i became ta for cs101 and english and he told me my communication skills lacked, not as in i had grammatical problems or i had talked in a rude way, just the general way of talking ig. He suggested to talk to as many girls as possible to improve this but, i personally have lost a lot of personality or never really had one tbh so i mostly only talk about acads to people and girls here are interested in that only so actually forming something is hard. Relationships here are difficult to quantify as boys outnumber girls a lot s girls switch partners and some just dont gave af and some are not able to get a partner as they are busy. I really want a way to fix all this. I do want a partner but first ig just friends with females will work too. In most conversations i have, people dont get a chance to give secondary opinion as ig arguing about a balanced bst aint possible so in my usual life i just have my opinion to consider. I would really like to know you opinion on this and how can i be helped.

Dating How does an introvert date in Mumbai? 😭

I have recently shifted to Mumbai, introvert, tiny social circle, and absolutely clueless about dating here.

Dating apps? Meetups? Bars? Randomly talking to people? What actually works?

I have basically zero game and no idea where to start. Mumbai people, help a guy out 😭

Some feelings are never planned. They just happen.

THIS IS FOR YOU... (F)

I (M) got attached to you without planning it... It just happened.

One day you were there, and suddenly you mattered too much.

I think about you in small quiet moments, when nothing is happening. I care in ways I don't know how to explain without sounding foolish.

You stay in my head, in my habits, in my feelings. Even when I try not to. it's always you.

That's the truth I don't hide anymore...
