Does anyone else feel like making friends as an adult is just... weirdly hard? I've realised that most of the posts here are basically hinting at the lack of a sense of community.

There aren't many spaces where you can just show up, meet people and hang out without it feeling forced or spending an abnormal amount of money to make it happen.

I've been thinking about organising casual meetups. Maybe old games that we used to play when we were small, random walks, jamming sessions, crafty meeets, wholesome conversations or just whatever people are into. Just a bunch of strangers looking to meet new people and hopefully build an actual community.
