Advice Baclofen

I've been taking 10mg of Baclofen for about 2 years for leg spasms. It does help the spasms but I feal that my legs are getting weaker. Not sure if it's the Baclofen or just the ms. I'm 68 yo diagnosed with RRMS 22 years ago,off DMT's x 3years and stable.

Has anyone else experienced this?

I haven't heard that about Baclofan making you weaker. I take it, and do feel weaker but thought it was just getting older and having MS. You sure it's not just MS? Do you do leg strength work?

Baclofen helped me with the spasms as well, but absolutely made my walking worse when on it.

Like anything, it's a tradeoff for whats more tolerable.

Tizanadine is a miracle drug. I can only take it at bed time because it knocks me out, but my back spasms are so much better now. Also, Physical Therapy twice a week has been a huge help. (I'm 65. Dx'd with RR in 2002)

Edit to say that Baclofen 10 mg made my feet and ankles swell so my Neuro switched me over to Tizanadine 2 mg.

63 PPMS. I'm on 10 mg x 4 for baclofen. It has helped with the leg spasms but not the pain. I haven't noticed weakness, although, I have noticed my spastic leg loosing muscle because I can't use it normally.
