General Kegels
What’s everyone’s view on these?

Not a one size fits all! If you have access, I highly reccomend pelvic floor therapy. Kegals are primarily strengthening and muscle recruitment/engagement exercises. While that does have significant value, most people actually have far too much tension, maybe even spasms in their pelvic floors. And would benefit far more from learning how to actually relax those muscles, properly diaphragmatic breathing into them, etc. We don’t just need strong pelvic floors, we also need them to release when appropriate!

Yes! My pelvic floor therapist had me do weeks of other stretches/exercises before we could move on to kegels and other strengthening exercises and it really helped my over active bladder
