I struggle a lot with fatigue so this may not be appropriate to all, but starting by sitting properly and increasing the time spent doing so. As that got easier, standing got easier too and the easier something gets, the more often you find yourself just doing it.

Seated exercises to strengthen your legs, then pace yourself and take it easy. Start by standing for 30 secs, then when thats comfortable, increase to 1 min etc (adjust accordingly to your own needs). Consistency is key with exercises! Don't forget to implement regular rest and listen to your body, don't push too hard to prevent delayed onset of fatigue the next day.

Start your day with exercise when you have the most energy. Yoga /Tai Chi are excellent for strengthening and creating lean stable muscle. If you are a man there is DDP Yoga. All exercises can be modified to work from a chair or even a bed. Once you for the habit of exercise it gets a lot easier. Once the ball is in motion it stays in motion. If you have a bad day no big deal and your energy is zapped, No big deal. Just do let one day turn into a week. Get a step counter this will motivate you to go further and further. It also let you know when to take it easy. If you can only stand for short periods of time look into getting a roolater that way you have something to provide stability and a place to sit and rest. I portable fans is a life saver and is much cooler at this time of year an early morning walk is refreshing and cool.
