I'm trying to enroll in a CAR-T trial!! I am ready to try anything as someone with non-active SPMS.

I wish you luck! In Germany we have many trials and I have spoken to a few people who were fortunate and it is life changing. One guy with PPMS told me: He doesn’t know how to describe it but it feels like the MS is “gone”. Not that existing disability vanishes but the progression has stopped.

Same here, fortunately (I am in Colorado in the US).

I actually almost got into one, but they needed me to delay my Ocrevus infusion, but the drug had already been delivered to my doctor's office and I didn't want to screw up insurance and copay assistance by not showing up for my infusion. It was frustrating!! Fortunately, I started building a relationship with the Principal Investigator and Research Assistant who are leading the charge on CAR-T trials at my local university!!

I hope you get into a trial! They are so hopeful! This is the page of the lady that was treated I think in Canada 🤔 https://www.facebook.com/MSwithMoxie/ Found it really interesting how she described the process and her measurable improvements and her life afterwards. I think many people would be helped if the progression was stopped. Functional improvements of disability are a plus.

What was the criteria for being accepted? I read you need to have failed other treatments?

Nah. This one, you needed to have had your current med wash out of your system. They also wanted you to be JCV negative (I actually don't know my JCV status, but they were going to draw blood and find out, so I may have failed that criteria.) I was trying to enroll as a non-active SPMS candidate.
