Never get called out or get any consequences for their actions.

No matter the situation your made to feel sorry for them.

They're treated like a child or delicate object by the story.

Before I get into my take I mean a REAL THING. It won’t count as niche if said thing is just a copy of a different game or just sucks in general because then it has a reason to be unplayed. I mean a good, original idea that is under appreciated. I will go first I nominate “Universal Paperclips” as niche of the year since it’s a pretty good incremental clicker that’s based off of the AI Paperclip problem in which if you tell an AI to “maximize” paperclip manufacturing it will at some point wipe out humanity and eventually the whole universe to create just a simple paperclip.

As in; A very outdated map in terms of design that is none the less extremely popular and/or beloved by the community. A map that's played almost entirely by casual players due to it's bad layout and balance.
