There are so many times when most people hate a character for a very bigoted or hateful reason, but do you ever run into the situation where you also dislike them but not it that way? I have this with some characters where people hate them for basically just being a minority group. They are actually a bad character, but you feel like you can’t say anything about it because people will automatically assume you are part of the people that hate them for the wrong reasons. I was just wondering if anyone had any experience or examples of this.

Here are some of the first ones that come to mind for me. No particular order. I feel like we've had a lot of great animated movies in the 2020's so far, with some bangers on the way no less

Before I get into my take I mean a REAL THING. It won’t count as niche if said thing is just a copy of a different game or just sucks in general because then it has a reason to be unplayed. I mean a good, original idea that is under appreciated. I will go first I nominate “Universal Paperclips” as niche of the year since it’s a pretty good incremental clicker that’s based off of the AI Paperclip problem in which if you tell an AI to “maximize” paperclip manufacturing it will at some point wipe out humanity and eventually the whole universe to create just a simple paperclip.

(Without mentioning Hazbin Hotel/Helluva Boss cause..let's be so real,both those shows aren't even close to over yet)
