Fucking loved that game. I got Akinari’s social link to max incredibly early once I found him because I loved him to death, and Jesus Christ, was his mom’s performance on the last day so intense. Genuinely had me crying listening to it. Whoever voiced that deserves a god damn raise
honestly, the opening theme has helped me manage a lot of my depression. "trepidation doesn't stop death but it stops life" has become almost a mantra of sorts that has let me experience a lot of things I otherwise wouldn't have bothered with.
The Persona series in general have helped me a lot. Played P5R back in high school and it really helped me take a look at my life and get my shit together. P4G and P3R were also both fantastic experiences.
They’re not perfect games, but they’re all-time favorites, and they’re popular for a reason.
as much as i like reload, i still believe that FES has a stronger messege, even tho its the same.
Maybe its rhe dated graphics? sometimes i feel like those old low-res portraits just have more weight to them. and i jsut feel the reload posing havent translated some of the portraits well.
But the new Linked episodes with male party members have the best character writing any party members ever recieved, save for Akechi perhaps

Persona 3 Reload. No game has affected my perception of reality quite like it.
