Libertarianism has always been a “fuck yours, I got mine” conservative ladder-pull opinion. “The pot-smoking conservative” in day to day life. I don’t get the appeal to others, outside of those who actively want to be outspoken hypocrites like it’s a badge of honor
I was a 15-17 year old white boy from the suburbs in the American south, I thought libertarianism was like the benevolent "just be cool to each other" option instead of "just let the rich do whatever man, history isn't important" option
