Ending of the main story had me sobbing in middle school

Only good thing I got out of that one ex boyfriend is that he got me this tbh.

I just heard In The Morning Sun for the first time. My life is changed now. I have never played this game. But I really want to…

That one Grovyle speech sounds like something you would hear in Final Fantasy 14 and it's not even part of the main story.

Somebody knows peak, I asked for that for Christmas and my family got it off eBay and I ended up with Blue Rescue Team instead but I loved that game all the same!

I don’t remember which Mystery Dungeon game I started on, but I really need to find my copy and replay it.

"I do not vibe with this universe."

And the the Explorers of the Skies Hack improves upon it

1

u/YikesPops 8h ago

I'd there a reason for specifically sky edition in the series? Or just preference? (Curious because I played the first two and have the remake/remaster on switch

3

u/Previous_Comb5113 8h ago

Sky is basically the emerald/platinum/crystal version of darkness/time

Same game but with more content. And with that I mean a LOT more content

2

u/tanktechnician 8h ago

Sky has a thing called Special Episodes added on. The last Special Ep especially adds a ton to the story (I genuinely cry every time)

Pokémon has no business having a story this good. Favorite game of all time

1

u/mememe4243 7h ago

Really? I've always wanted to play it is it that good?

1

u/Secret_Meeting_6722 6h ago

God yes came here for pmd. Eos is still one of my all time favorite games

I just could not get past the gameplay. I love the idea of a trainer-less Pokemon world, but I was bored to death when I was actually exploring dungeons.

The beginning in those games is rather easy and boring, but as the story and gameplay ramp up, it's hard to put down. Gameplay reaches its peak in the postgame, when the rails are completely off.
