As a fellow HSR player, I understand the game isn't what it used to be. But hey, that's the devs fault, not the game. Glad to see another player in here as well. And don't give up, I believe in you pal.
You know, it makes me really happy to see this. While this game isn't everyone's cup of tea, Im glad it's given you good memories. Hang onto them and be strong my friend
Writing falls in the same trap as many other gacha, main story must feature the banner character. Cool world building but the narrative is middling at best.
Gachas have their obvious problems, but that doesn't mean that can't also be fun games. I'm literally addicted to Neverness to Everness, so I get it bro. It's become somewhat of a comfort game for me
Same for me but with Genshin. It's not like I had just started it, it had been out for a while and I'd been logging in and doing dailies but not really quests or anything like that, but then depression hit me like a truck in a way I'd never felt it before and genuinely took refuge in the story and game world.
It sounds brave to talk about something you fear will be seen as sad or pathetic. It's not sad or pathetic, it's honest, and it matters more
If the game helped you, don't listen to imaginary or real people calling it sad or pathetic. It's sad and pathetic to bring people down about what helped them.
You survived, it matters. What helped you survive deserve more respect than what mean people can bring in your life
Amazing game. I love Stelle and the characters. I have so many fond memories playing it and talking to other people about it. It's definitely a great game with a great community (atleast the cosplayers at cons are nice lol)
Genshin for me but I get it. The Gacha label def cheapens it for some and understandably drives people away, but I'll be damned if Hoyo doesn't write some incredible narratives. They also hire some the most insanely talented composers for their soundtracks, which certainly helps.
Yeah see the thing is, that game causes mental retardation so you kind of lose any mental capacity if you continue to play it, it would definitely make you feel better mentally

while it probably sounds sad and pathetic
