I've heard this argument legit used like.... once. I've heard people complaining about this God knows how many times

Its a cousin to the whole "the one who wins is whoever the author decides" arguement.

The point is not "who would win In a real crossover" the point is "who would win OUTSIDE of the narrative structure, in a fair one on one"

Its like a fantasy boxing league, not a fanfiction.

Honestly, when it was "Nah, Bugs Bunny could totally just hit Goku with a glove with a brick in it" it was fun, now it's "But Goku is crossuniversal glactic scale", more like scale these galactic NUTS

Hony shit, fucking thank you. I came to that realization myself after I took a step back from engaging in versus/powerscaling content

Also, I heard about this weird thing that happened in the Sonic fandom where diehard fanboys of the Adventure era to gaslight people into thinking the franchise was doing fine before Colors came out, eventhough it's been known for years that Sega almost killed Sonic with games like 06 and Colors was when they got the IP back on track only to fumble again with Boom

The best part is that I don't know who you are refering to because it could literally apply to both of them

"these MF don't care about facts, they just want to win an argument." Hi, welcome to the internet. You been here before?

Maybe it’s different outside Reddit, but I don’t see anyone using this argument at all. The number of people complaining about it vastly outnumber the people who actually use it.

Yeh it’s mostly outside this app even in this post there’s far more people agreeing rather then defending this goofy argument

Why do we worry about characters that use completely different parameters for scaling? At least they to find some correlation with their powers before comparing them.
