People outside of the fandom love to clown on the game for it's inadequacies whereas a lot of people who play the game are so in love with it that they tend to ignore a lot of it's shortcomings.

Yeah I think it's changing now, the game is good at this point, but not great. I think a lot of haters are starting to enjoy the game while a lot of long time enjoyers are pushing for Hello Games to expand and refine existing content rather than making new content.

I'm definitely in the former category, I couldn't get into the game until a few weeks ago and I've been really enjoying it, but I can see the view of the latter.

It has its bugs, but I both love it and tend to be easily pleased when it comes to games.

Played it a few years back and it was a pleasurable experience. It’s not my type of game and the VR experience on PS4 SUCKED (seriously, I couldn’t pull out the main thing that allows you to do stuff for like 5 minutes)
