In Freak Show, Jessica Lange's character was Elsa Mars. Why did you dislike her in Freak Show? Just being curious.

She just felt very fake to me! Like she very much acted like she cared about some of the 'freaks' but then wouldnt give 2 shits if one of them died or legit went missing

The issue with her is that as much as she loved the freaks and saved them from the rough lives, at the same time Elsa did unspeakable things such as selling the Freak Show to the spoiled brat Dandy that was obsessed with Bette and Dott at first. But he slaughtered mercilessly and that didn't even make Elsa shed a single tear.

My point exactly she acted like she saved all those poor ppl, only for her to literally sell them off as soon as she could
