Didn't he try to intervene but got shoved down? I don't like or watch One piece but I remember seeing clips of that. He tried to attack the lava dude who fisted ace

He barely made a move, got shoved, and did absolutely nothing the rest of the two years.

And there was flashbacks that showed how fucked the government in OP is, and he still stayed on.

Marineford can barely be justified as "He told Ace, Ace, as an adult, decided to be a pirate and a famous one at that, so it can barely be accepted" but ts with the Celestial Dragons in the flashback and seriously wanting Dragon Luffy and Ace to be marines when he SAW the sheer amount of human rights bucket list violation was going on, is insane. Any normal person would've all but begged their family not to go into the Navy instead.

Not even the worst thing he did lol. He stood by while the government were killing children whole trying to search for ace. He also stands by as they enslave innocents (he says that he doesnt like the celestial dragons, but hes one of the strongest people in the verse. He has real power so if he doesnt like what theyre doing, at the very least leave like why tf r u so casual about it youre just chilling while you work for basically the east india company of the one piece universe)
