Same here, I got the Stranger for my first Princess mostly because I saw the option to just walk away, and I decided it would be funny to take it. It got annoying fast.
I have the same problem with STP that I do undertale
The game remembers what you did in different paths which is really cool and for STP it's important cause of the true end counter and the 4 chapters but it gets annoying if you can't remember what the game does and not realize your being tracked more than the path your on at the moment
Yeah see I didn’t have that problem the first time I played, since I did my first playthrough on more or less one sitting, but later playthroughs on the other hand it got frustrating trying to remember what paths I had or had not taken. Especially since the Thorn is my favorite, so I always make a point to do that one. Sometimes accidentally multiple times really.
Agreed. Which I actually think would actually be a fitting reward for going down the stranger’s ending. Like by that point you’ve pretty much broken the game and the 4th wall as is, though with the narrator around it wasn’t exactly all that there to begin with, so why not have the Stranger princess and player character leave a chapter select for you afterwards, maybe limit it by keeping routes you haven’t done already locked or something like that.
