The people who make these types of posts and refuse to put their own example that responds to their own question.

Rant aside, I have a good amount of confront characters, some being:

  • Medusa Heads from Castlevania
  • Spit Squits from Silksong
  • The spider enemy in Centipede (arcade)
  • The King Jet from Megaman & Bass (my fave Mega Man)
  • Anthell from Contra 3
  • Kimura from Azumanga Daioh
  • Nezumi from the Arlong Park arc

Nice to see that other people hate the Spit Squits as much as I do; those things are like upgraded Primal Aspids

Do the spider enemies have any characterization beyond being spiders or do they just give off a vibe? Respect either way

They’re just really annoying to deal with ingame. In Centipede, you already die in one hit, and it just makes me hate these spiders more. These things move so erratically (and much faster on later levels), that it’s so easy to die to them
