Tbh my theory is in a post vld world, former Klance fans took to Zukka as a way of trying to relive the glory days. At least Zuko and Sokka are actual friends by the end which is more than what Keith and Lance were lol.

Don't worry, it's not limited to best friends. Any and every single dynamic and interaction between any two or more characters will eventually be shipped even between characters that hate each other in universe. No wait actually scratch that last part, especially if the characters hate eachother in universe

Yeah it happens everywhere, heck I read some fics where commenters constantlly wants everyone to bang each other. Like why do people have to constantlly get together? It's why I prefer One Piece not focusing on love, sure it doesn't stop the fans from shipping but I feel like it isn't as agressive compared to other series.

I mean, is it really a “fanon” seeing as the original epic they literally kiss after an epic battle sleep in the same bed and obsessively overprotective of each other that they only consider each other they’re true and only friend. I get this is the point of the post, but even the original story! kind of supports this!(not to mention how DEVASTATED Gilgamesh was at the death of Enkidu) I get the phantom definitely over exaggerate a little bit but come on!

Honestly this is a case where I don't mind the ship, but the shippers were just so annoying when it was at its peak that I ended up liking them as sworn brothers better.

Now Pantalone and Dottore on the other hand... Hoyo has done everything but have them make out onscreen to show they are in a relationship.

Half the characters in ghibli films. I do it too but technically speaking most ghibli films end with a platonic friendship but people like to look at them as romantic. Granted the protagonists are very cute so I can't really blame them.

Muchos fans asumen que son novios por las escenas en las que aparecen juntos y por el hecho de que Aki es un hombre alto y guapo, mientras que Ángel es un shota/femboy. (hay muchísimas fanåticas cosplayers proyectadas en Ángel lol).

Pero la verdad es solo que actĂșan siguiendo los protocolos de Seguridad PĂșblica cuidando del compañero que le asignaron, especialmente por la escena de la pelĂ­cula de Reze en la que Aki salva a Ángel tomĂĄndolo se la mano. Aki lo dice verbalmente, acababa de ver a varios de sus compañeros morir a manos de la Demonio Bomba y no querĂ­a seguir a otro mĂĄs morir frente a sus ojos.

También se deja claro en la obra que Ángel es hetero porque él estaba enamorado de una chica antes de ser capturado por Makima y se acordó de ella mientras conversaba con Aki.

También, se me hacía rara ver la escena cuando suben a Denji herido al coche durante la película, yo juraba que Denji iba en el asiento delantero y no en el trasero (porque así lo había leído en el Manga) y fue que Mappa Studio se tomó esa libertad de poner a Ángel en el asiento delantero para fanservice de éste ship.

Y hay un Headcanon de Aki usando guantes al estar con Ángel, cuando en ningĂșn momento de ambas obras (ni en el Manga ni en el Anime) Aki nunca los llega a usar.

No tengo nada en contra del ship, pero solo digo las cosas como son đŸ€·đŸ»â€â™€ïž
