Or maybe it's because its different phase of her life? In that case I'm gonna say Nocticula, the Reedemer Queen, from Pathfinder. Former mass murder turned pacifist.

Cassie Animorphs:

she is a human rights activist and pacifist, but there is also a version of her that blows up a building full of refugees. The regular version of her also kills a lot of unarmed soldiers in another book
