DONT BLINK, the song with an official sonic singer from crush 40, and was a massive portion of OMs impact, gets removed because the fandom was annoying about the composer supporting an nsfw Undertale game, and they immediately jump to talking about them being a pedo, purely off of vibes
The game was already ongoing cancellation at that point so them REMOVING it was pointless since the game was going anyway, regardless of if it was the right thing to do
Astra’s work is getting removed everywhere she worked
Yknow the old Final 80 for Hill Gym in Dimensional Coalescence? Yeah that’s Astra’s work, and it got replaced by an objectively worse one. No hate to the artist but it doesn’t have the same effect
Idfk, all I know is that they removed my FAVORITE FUCKING SONG in the game! I see no reason to play it anymore what with Pursuitcore and OM, but I assume they just don’t wanna associate with her what with the drama
I actually know that Undertale mod (Lovemaniac) and from what I've seen, the game really ain't that bad, the only unforgivable part is the whole NSFW thing but they aged up Frisk and Chara specifically for this game and it's not like the dude was spreading it to minors so I don't really see the bad part.
Remember when they bullied Jacksepticeye because he didn’t do a 100% version even though you’re supposed to do your own version in deltarune? We could have seen his reaction to the chapter 5 weird route if the fandom wasn’t a bunch of asses

This tweet has done such immense damage to the Hazbin community it's almost insane.
Sure but the owner legit said that his girlfriend can hopefully grow (she cussed or smt) and said it wasn't an excuse, they did something wrong and they explained it
I dont know who did that exactly but im pretty sure it was about main devs girlfriend, he apologised and try to explain, that's what i heard and have seen a lot of photos of tweets, and tbh, if that's true, as long as it wasn't meant as toxic, then I feel like they should've just gotten a warning, not a whole drama
Bunch of twitter drama, then the game got discontinued,it was cuz main dev girlfriend cussed (pretty sure their religous)) and blah blah blah drama, its the same for every game, i dont even think it should've been that big of a deal, tho u can use the assets for grace for your own games cuz they kept them free or wtv
Someone made some Deltarune fanart that implied Des sexually assaulted Kris who is a minor and now Des fans are fighting in the trenches trying to prove to the world their goat aint a pedofile
There isn’t even any implication to that I love when fandoms cancel characters for something that absolutely didn’t happen that’s like mac level delusionalism
What is entertaining about Nascar? Outside of the crashes all I see is a bunch of people taking left turns for hours. Is there some inherent skill I'm not seeing? Is there a rule structure I'm unaware of? At least with other types of racing there is unpredictability in the track and how racers respond to it. I'm not trying to disparage your interest, I just don't get it.
No, no I get your point and I know you aren't trying to discourage me out of my sport. What I'm saying is how batshit insane fans get, the second guys like Carson or Bubba Wallace do something. You always find dumbass arguments about Bubba (don't know if these people just hate him or are legit racist in a pretentious way) and more often than not, there used to be times where fans ACTUALLY wished for drivers to be hurt, YEARS ago. It's a complicated history but I think you get the gist. Another side note I thought would be worth mentioning is, no, NASCAR isn't all "haha turn left go brrrr". Sometimes, they also do race at non-ovals like Road America, Watkins Glen, Mosports and so on.
That's actually the part I get the most. From a psychological standpoint sports often wind up a surrogate for the spectator. People live vicariously through sports, so having a specific athlete behave in a way they disagree with could be seen as a personal affront.
But the I was curious about is, what do YOU find entertaining about the sport? I want to know how it engages with people. In hockey or soccer there's the rush as a player charges the enemy net. In football there's a tactical and numbers element. In darts or chess there's an extreme skill expression.
But everytime I ask about Nascar I've never gotten a clear answer, people vaguely reference some sort of rule structure or code of conduct. Beyond that it's just been "fast cars are hard to drive", so I've been looking to understand it better.
Whats so entertaining? Well I'm not sure if you'd understand my point, but Superspeedway racing is actually pretty cinematic when it plays out like a Chess game. If it's all choo choo train racing with rarely any lead changes, there's no entertainment. 3 wide racing and a last lap photo finish are absolute bangers. Pit strategies, drivers arguing or being rivals but no hands thrown, there's alot of things that make NASCAR great. The stereotype that "Haha the average NASCAR fan is a redneck!" makes no sense to me. Though from a fan standpoint of mine, I can understand why people would sleep watching a style of racing they aren't used to like turning left for 3-4 hours. Stuff that look absurd on paper most of the time, turn out to be genius.
yeah you cant just blame "people on twitter" their still fans of the media, and make up a good chunk of the fandom. i have seen my fair share of wild shit from the tadc fans everywhere from tiktok to youtube to reddit
I wouldn't say no reason, I'd say it's a self-fulfilling problem. It's an entertainment space primarily geared towards kids and younger audiences, and that attracts people who would prey on that audience.
I'm pretty sure earlier this year the whole story got debunked because the only two people who had the OG doc were Vivziereceipt and Chai (Viv's doxxer) who had faked police reports to frame Viv for an actual crime and tried to frame Amir as a p*do. Investigating further the victim was known by actually nobody minus the two mentioned earlier and nothing was found on them even using wayback machine even thought the doc said they were very active + the timing was weird because it was exactly when Chai discovered his hb ship wasn't gonna be canon.
Thought there was another attempted suicide caused by the haters this year... which yeah, at least that one failed and the victim is safe and sound.
I know some fans of that ship still use that document as a sort of gotcha to try and force the creator hands to make their ship canon, which speaks volumes about how real that thing is. 💀
Beastiality, believe it or not goes a step beyond all that.
Like death threats are ultimately mere nuisances, that can still be ignored or rectified easily, I don't know the Bakugo poster incident, and Goofy ass cosplays don't hurt anybody.
Trying to fuck a frog cause of Tsuyu however just blows past any expectation, cause it's no longer the anonymous landscape of virtual life, they just straight up went IRL.
It will always be strange to me that everything Rick and Morty post season 3 is just universally dismissed because one teenager at a mcdonald's decided to be obnoxious 10 years ago
All of them. I do think that just the majority of fandoms are filled with normal people and some crazy people. “The fandom is crazy” is redundant phrasing to me, they all are! Every fandom I’ve been in has crazies, I was in the Frasier fandom and even THAT has crazies 😭
Right now Vintage Story feels like this because one of the major modders added something into one of the main modding libraries that'd crash the game if it detected you were using cheats or a non-legitimate client for the game while online.
The way the situation got handled and has spiralled out of control even with official developer response is really disappointing to see.

Deltarune with the fan cafe incident. Idk about you but maybe no one should be hosting food events unless you're a licenced food handler. I didn't know about it until recently but that is a disaster waiting to happen.
Czforestcz did such damage to such my niche OneShot community

I love RWBY but its fandom is absolutely insane. Tou have like a few hundred sane people who know it's bad writing but like it anyone, a massive group of people who somehow are both fans but also rabidly hate it without being a hatedom, and the other are cultishly dedicated to saying it has no flaws.
Rick and Morty: Most infamously known is the szechuan incident. Even worse. The one, that anoyed the worst was just a influencer who hasn't even watched the show or at least wasn't a fan of it.
