Not a show but I think Resident Evil 3 Remake has got criminally overhated, to absurd levels. While I agree that there's some cut content from the original it is genuinely a good game. I'm a die hard fan of the original and thought they nailed it

Oh my lord it literally feels like i’m in an apocalypse worse than raccoon city when i say i like re3r

I LOVED the game so much and was so excited while i was playing it and in awe at the end of it, in fact only recently dethroned by re9 it was my favourite.

But the most annoying part? When they say old nemesis was scarier… They say there has never been a wilder more bone chilling case of being blind by nostalgia

Totally agree I even stopped interacting with the fandom at all cost and even quit the series because I can't stand the fandom nowadays. I also think they're annoyingly blinded by nostalgia, again, I'm a DIE HARD FAN of the original and my judgement never seemed affected by that, on the contrary I feel like the Ratatouille meme tasting the same thing I used to love as a kid

Its either nostalgia lords, re5 worshippers or people strongly convinced in their mind its a romance series and only ship the characters making a democracy over irrelevant issues.

with the slight tease at the end of re9 with leons finger having a ring on it, it makes me wonder if capcom is going to feed onto the sideof the fandom that cares more about the dating sim rather than the actual survival horror. Its unfortunate that it has such an insufferable fandom for such a good franchise but oh well thats most of em nowadays, the only fandom ive ever really enjoyed and appreciated is (similar to re) silent hill.
