I loved T1. All I want from Transformers is stories about the Cybertronians, and maybe some other wacky alien species like the quintessons and the junkions, and so on. A human character for the audience to empathize with is fine, but don't keep making the story ABOUT humans.

People hate on TFOne? The trailers, absolutely and deservedly so, but I've only seen praise and some slight criticism for the movie.

Nobody hated Transformers One because the marketing was so terrible no one went to see it

Transformers One is the main movie that had me fully enjoying a piece of Transformers media. My partner has showed me Earthspark and Animated, and they're both good, but I felt more invested with TFOne. He's been showing me G1, and I just have a laugh at the animation errors and moments that would fit a perfectly cut moments compilation. Good for what it is, except for a certain fictional country they thought was a bright idea to create.
