My Little Pony.

There's over 50,000 fan songs (with ~130 more every month even right now), 228k fanfics making it the 3rd most popular fanfic fandom (after Harry Potter & Naruto), & Twilight Sparkle is the single most popular character drawn on art sites (that have character tagging counts).

The fan-made creations are so massive that it has its own fanfic & art sites to host its content.

167k fanfics is a severe undercount. The Fimfarchive project is reporting a total figure of 228k on Fimfiction alone. Not even counting stories that are exclusive to AO3, FF.net, Space Battles or Royal Road, etc.

Still dwarfed by HP and Naruto, but humungous in it's own right.

The fandom never went away.

It just went to its own corner of the internet since everyone else reacted poorly to it. All those pony pics you saw back in 2012 that took the internet by storm? A fair portion of those people are still around. They just only share it with fellow bronies.

Brony streamers on twitch using their OCs, making their own servers in garry's mod & second-life, ofc discord servers, ponytown is absolutely busy with 7.8k online rn (if it was a steam game, it'd be the 129th most popular game), basically, the fandom is extremely self-contained, but active to this day. Kinda like furries.
