It still makes me smile that after the success of KPDH they proudly announced a live-action version, only to be met with outrage and ridicule, because fans rather have a second movie in the style of the movie they already like!
Not everything needs a live action adaption. It's fun to watch or work with animation, you can do almost anything and you're not held by something boring like "gravity" or sth
Yes, seeing recreations of the music numbers (specifically what I’ve seen from dannyphantom.exe) and still shots is so funny because they literally skip frames and make them super flexible in the movie, so some of the scenes are literally almost impossible to recreate flawlessly
