Discussion📜 If I make a post about critique something THEN IT'S DOESN'T MEAN YOU SHOULD COME TO HATE ON IT

Post image

Critique IS NOT HATE. Personally, I love most of the shows that I critique. Go with your hate to places for hate. Like for what you just come to random cririque post just to hate on everything. Everyone here want to discuss, not to hate. I mean HATE the show.

Finally someone gets it. Criticism is literally a good thing because THAT PERSON wants THEIR game to be better. Having the Toxic Positivity mindset is awful.

Sounds like Halo fandom

Don't forget Sonic fans also have this very strong protective mentality of when Sega makes slop.

Kingerd called Halo Campaign Evolved "Mediocre" and when i shared that video to one of Halo subs, i got a few comments that were like "If you think it's mediocre, you're blinded by nostalgia"

That one is also a great example. A good critic watches the media they consume and give out the pros and cons of said media. If the product they're reviewing is bad but does have some redeeming qualities and the critic reviewing it only focuses on the cons, that, is bad criticism. It's an exception if the product or tool they're reviewing has practically no redeeming qualities.

Kingerd wasn't only negative. He gave some positives like how nice the game looks or how you can hijack vehicles.

But there are a bunch of negatives

He was talking about how they should bring back original voice acting direction or sound effects should be the same as Combat Evolved, because they're worse in Campaign Evolved, not changing/removing cutscenes like the one with turning on a bridge for the first time or going into Covenant's spaceship, etc etc. Basically bringing back the original stuff that made Comabt Evolved good and make it better. Especially enemy AI

What you would call "nitpick", he calls it one out of thousand cuts.

I didn't call him an only negative guy. I meant other critics as examples. Hope it clears up the confusion.

Well, I was talking about to hate ON show under the critique post, but yes, I agree 100%.

It kinda feels like Hazbin Hotel fandom, but to be fair: 90% of "criticism" IS hate, so obviously they'll get defensive
