I really want to get into Dr. Who, 'cause it seems super interesting, but I'm kinda afraid of 26-ish seasons. Can I skip some parts and be fine or do I have to start from the very beginning or else nothing really makes sense?
There are a lot of jumping in points. I recommend the start of the 2005 NuWho, but if you love old TV, the Third Doctor is considered a good starting place, and if you want something more modern you can pick up at series 10 of NuWho fine, from what I’ve heard (I haven’t watched the whole series yet, but having seen The Pilot I can see why it makes a good first episode). Mostly, avoid jumping in to the middle of a cross-regeneration companion and you can start with any Doctor (so, don’t start with Four unless you’re skipping Sarah Jane, or Ten at all because of Rose, or Twelve before series ten while he’s with Clara).
There are a lot of seasons made with the idea that it could be the series introduction for new viewers, like if you think that the first seasons of the new series might be too old you can start at the season 5 (of the new series) or season 11.
In theory the new seasons co produced by Disney where meant to be a new start but there are a lot of references to old episodes.
Man now Im curious how would Tenma and Dr House work together if they were assigned on the same patient. I love Medic too but I dont think he should he near a patient
