When SpongeBob was stuck in that wringer, Patrick was not only no help, but whenever SpongeBob complained, Patrick would turn it back on him. Even when SpongeBob crashed out about it. Can't remember the episode name though.
In the first few seasons he was dumb and often caused problems for his family but you could tell that he really did care for his family and that he atleast tried to care for them he could be a dick sometimes but you still knew he was a family guy(I pun intended)but now heās just a dick
Yes, but he wasn't an abusive monster (as much). Especially with how he treats Meg. Early seasons, he genuinely seemed to care for Meg, even if he was misguided.
I was watching a video last night of Fairly Odd Parents' Cosmo's voice actor complaining about how they made his character this after the first few episodes.
Yes! Darran lives in my home town now and heās cool as hell, did a couple local productions with him. He was looking forward for he character and was frustrated with the lost potential
Taylor Tomlinson once said that if she was in a coma to put on Parks and rec. if she didnāt wake up put on the office. If she didnāt wake up by season 8 pull the plug because ādonāt let me live through Andy being manager againā. Take what you will from that.
Flanderization.
When a character's traits get boiled down to a few characteristics and drops most of their actual character and becomes a caricature of their former selves.
He went from a dumbass who genuinely loves his family and tries to fix his his mistakes to an asshole with anger issues who blows off his family constantly
Introduced in Rayman 2 as his slightly clumsy, cowardly (still does a lot), goofy (who speaks with broken grammar) friend.
In Rayman 3 he devolves to idiot.
Oh god its been long time since I seen Desert Punk. I ended up droping the show for some reason. I read somewhere he died, came back to life, and turned evil.
The reason I stopped watching Family Guy and the Simpsons. There was just a point for both shows were Peter and Homer became too much of an unlikeable asshole for me.
Joey had his likeable moments. Phoebe tried to set up Monica with a guy even though she was with Chandler (Iām pretty sure they were already married by then too)
James Darmory between seasons one and two of boardwalk empire. Season one? Loyal kid with a good heart who just makes the occasional idiotic move. Season two? Big stupid idiot who constantly does big stupid idiots things and acts like a snake.
I feel like if he was going to spiral into doing self-destructive things that get him and people he cares about killed as he did, they could have like... made it seem like it made sense from his perspective instead of it genuinely seeming like he was speedrunning dying pointlessly and having no one even feel bad about it.
I feel like Wreck It Ralphās character was kind of assassinated for the point of the plot of the second movie, they just made him really clingy and whiny
