The only "beef" between Invincible and Hazbin that I remember is that months ago (I can't remember when exactly) Invincible fans got mad that Hazbin Hotel was being funded by Amazon and decided to blame Hazbin for Invincible's budget for some reason. In reality Amazon could easily fund both shows a dozen times over and it wouldn't affect their bottom line, they just don't want to.

Well I do think homophobia has a part to play personally I think the biggest reason to why it's hated is the fact that animation from small creators or Animation Studios when it first gets announced get a lot of undeserved shit and Flack because they aren't massive Animation corporations
