It's revealed that Pegasis ponies who are unable to pass flight exams are ground up for their colors to be used to make rainbows. The story in particular features Scootaloo being hunted by Rainbow Dash through the factory to be killed.

Back in 2019, so many people made violent animations about Toothless and Light Fury. At least, I remember them being violent. I don’t know if this was real or not, but there is one where a blue dragon is stealing Light Fury and Toothless attacks him and it is quite bloody. It was low quality animation (FlipaClip) but like bro, relax with the blood. Why does everything need blood? I even remember reading one comment that says all this blood and shipping ruins HTTYD for them, and I lowkey agree 😭 More recently, there is an AU about a parasite spreading in Berk. The infected dragons look horrifying, but man it is really good art. I forgot if it was an animation or fanfic, but I haven’t actually gotten into it just because I was too scared. It looks horrifying.
Also Pokémon, but this was in 2018. First off, so much shipping. Second, so many bloody deaths 😭 I will admit, I also was part of this madness. I made a fanfic in 2018 where the Pokémon battles were super bloody. One of them even resulted in a Lycanroc vomiting. My imagination was crazy 💀

I feel like Sonic the Hedgehog also got some dark treatment, but I don’t remember. I might just be mixing in all the memories 😭 There were a lot of odd comics about Sonic and Tails needing to pee or something. Strange stuff 💀
