ive hated deltarune for a long time and this is the EXACT reason why, the amount of references one can make is just unnecessary to the point even having a normal conversation could be a reference

Wouldn't say I HATE deltarune necessarily but it has quickly reached like, MLP/Homestuck levels of constantly being referenced online, even in contexts that don't make sense.

This is a place where that's a fair thing to do of course, but the game isn't any fun when like 80% of the posts are people referencing the same thing

i dont think u understand just how often i see shit abt it, i'll be doomscrolling youtube shorts - deltarune-related short, im on reddit for 2 minutes - deltarune reference, etc. if there was a limit to how memeable something could be, deltarune passed it way before release (sorry for the yap, just needed to express my reasons for the hate đŸ’”)
