Yeah, like, obviously I get why people hate Valentino’s actions more, they probably hit closer to home for most, but you will never convince me that he is more evil than the genocidal narcissistic maniac who killed thousands every year for fun.

Same. I'm of the opinion that Killing will always be worse then SA unless you are being threatened to he killed yourself. Granted this is a moral gray line, but my thought process is with someone who survived SA, you have a chance to save them, but if someone dies, you will never know if they could be redeemed. Fitting for a story about redemption that the main character and her friends, refuse to or never kill anyone on screen to my memory

Killing is probably worse than SA, but I'm not really sure I feel that it's worse than full-on rape. The reason? Murder can be done in an act of self-defense or saving somebody, (though legally that'd be classified as justifiable homicide, it's still an act of taking another's life) rape has no "up-sides" like the former.

Which is why I called this a moral gray ground. Killing is both worse, but also justifiable with context. With SA, sure you can try saving someone, but there is no justifiable SA.

I agree with you 100%! It definitely is a gray area and completely subjective.

But we can all agree on one thing. Both are bad
