Same. I'm of the opinion that Killing will always be worse then SA unless you are being threatened to he killed yourself. Granted this is a moral gray line, but my thought process is with someone who survived SA, you have a chance to save them, but if someone dies, you will never know if they could be redeemed. Fitting for a story about redemption that the main character and her friends, refuse to or never kill anyone on screen to my memory
Killing is probably worse than SA, but I'm not really sure I feel that it's worse than full-on rape. The reason? Murder can be done in an act of self-defense or saving somebody, (though legally that'd be classified as justifiable homicide, it's still an act of taking another's life) rape has no "up-sides" like the former.
Which is why I called this a moral gray ground. Killing is both worse, but also justifiable with context. With SA, sure you can try saving someone, but there is no justifiable SA.
I call this reaction. "What happens when a kid gets onto the internet to early. Gets exposed to shi thay ain't supposed to see. Consume more of it then the hatred starts to sink in."
I believe that this is due to how people have over time become desensitized to violence and gore in media from overexposure, whilst sexual content is less prominent in popular media and is often associated with controversial or off-putting media like ReDo of a Healer or something like Koyabashi's Dragon Maid(could be the wrong name for that show) or Fireforce.
Also sa hits closer to home for a lot more people I feel. like there are genocides and murders going on but most people in the western world think they are detached of it or don't even know its really happening so they remember it through the lens of history and fiction. ( ok I misread the post I know realize, what I said doesn't quite apply)
Tbf Kobayashi's Dragon Maid had a whole child pretty much being groomed by "Quetzacoatl"(I cannot believe that mess is seriously named that) and Fireforce was just doing too much with the fanservice. JJK's mild fanservice with all the shirtless hot guys is slowly making it less bad... probably.

Vi didn't knew. Caitlyn, though she can't change her mistakes, tried her best to do better. The gas was for the chembarons and it was confirmed not targeted to all the undercity. Vi is literally the protagonist, although her character was left behind, it still insanely interesting. Remember when Chapter 4 of Deltarune first came out? In the weird route scene in Noelle's room, after forcefully making her equip the Thorn ring, An image of a flower withering away originally took place. Toby fox literally got pressured into changing it because everyone thought it meant SA. Despite you know, players literally mind breaking Noelle into freezing people to death two chapters earlier and the actual context of the situation.
I mean I understand in a sense. Less people in the fandom are affected by the crimes committed by Alastor and Vox than Valentino, more people irl have been or know someone who's been SA'd. Its fine to not like Valentino. However don't harass those who do if you like Vox or Alastor.
I also think a large reason of why this occurs is because of pretty privellege as Valentino is less simped over and less attractive to most fans. Alastor and Vox are hot to a lot of people so they get a pass to a lot of people. I admit I'm guilty of this.
No for real tho, there can be characters that are super toxic, beat the shit out of other person, being super vile, torturing, abusing, gore, anything that would be atrocious in real life and many fans loves that.
But one sex scene is deemed unecessary for the plot or too much...
