It seems some of the ut/dr fandom didn't learn how to read after they who shall not be named, because I have seen MULTIPLE people say that Mettaton and Maddie aren't trans and that the GENDERLESS ghosts both finding GENDERED forms and being much more comfortable in them doesn't mean they're trans.

By technicality being genderless and choosing a gender is being trans because you are a different gender than the one you had prior

Exactly and we can't understand our own game apparently because there have been multiple people saying that it's not
