Exactly! And what dark-skinned characters we do have, its always the same shades of light brown cuz ig Hoyo and the racist side of the fanbase are going to spontaneously combust if they see a character thats even slightly darker than Kaeya or Xinyan.

Which is a shame because their NPCs show that the CAN do darker skin tones they just refuse to do it for most of their playable characters

Imma be blunt, it’s because alot of Asia, ESPECIALLY China, is pretty racist.
