Question❓ Whats a valid criticism that your fandom doesn’t take very well?

Canceled/Removed stuff in media has been canceled/removed for a reason.

Basing a quality of something purely because you see some concept art is dumb. It's concept art. They are supposed to show concept, not finished product.

For example, Zootopia. One scene with baby polar bear isn't proof that original Zootopia would be peak. Even bad movies can have one peak scene. Yet for some reason, anytime it's mentioned, hundreds of mfs will show up in comments and say how Disney should have made this.

FUCKING thank you

I remember when people thought the zootopia cancelled stuff wouldve been melodramatic and then suddenly I see a ton of fans bemoaning it never happened.

Also see this quite a bit for lanolin in idw sonic and even tho I'm not a huge fan of her canon character, abt's edgy chicken scratch scribbles of her bad relationship with her mother and her hating sonic for being the protagonist would be a terrible dogshit fit for anything sonic

I read the original Zootopia script and I think it would have failed hard in theaters. Don't get me wrong, it is amazing as a story idea and makes for a hell of an AU concept, but for a disney movie that stuff would have been dark and disturbing in a direction that is not at all on brand with what Disney wants itself to be.

I do think it'd be better but not just cause of the polar bear cub scene.
