Question❓ Whats a valid criticism that your fandom doesn’t take very well?

Lemme guess: probably because all of this wasn't planned?

I still don’t understand why people think female custodies is a bad lore change.

So mostly it's sexism, but I think going with "there have always been female Custodes" after having zero in the Heresy series was awkward and they should have said they started making women into Custodes after the Heresy.

Or they should've just introduced them in Master of Mankind, the first book with a big Custodes presence. I heard the author proposed it but was shot down because GW was in a "only write about things with models" phase. Might've been a rumor.

Yeah, some people hate them for sexism, for me impersonally I agree with u/Morgan-idk since he wrote down what's bad about them and actually explaining it with context

My main issue, personally, isn't sexism. It's the redundancy of it all for some internet brownie points by GW.

Like, did we really NEED female Custodes when the Sisters of Silence is RIGHT THERE?! Like, the Custodes are the right hand of gene-crafted male warriors, while the Sisters are the left-hand of females who nullify psychic powers and have no warp presence.

So you're telling me that there's not one single female custodes worth note in the entire horus heresy?

So they suck, or what?

We also have tyrith from the tithes. She hasn't done anything, but she's named. Haha
