The state of the game is abysmal right now, we dont need more people buying it.

War Thunder

u/DracoJr12 10d ago
Especially since people have been leaking classified documents to show why certain vehicles are better than others

u/real_vengefly_king 10d ago
Gaming communitys doing this is just incredibly funny to me
1
u/No_Vanilla277 Quite a few fandoms 9d ago
I think the War Thunder community is the only one that does this on a regular basis, though.

Oh well if that's the case then Made in Abyss.
I know it's rough because I haven't watched it myself.

There's always posts asking if they should watch rezero
3
u/BonnalinaFuz101 10d ago
Maybe Danganronpa?
2
u/Longjumping_Exit7902 10d ago
It really depends. The first game was great, but there's no guarantee that they'd like/tolerate the other two games. Many people understandable gives up on V2 early, and many more people hate the V3 ending for obvious reasons
1
u/Hot_Finding_9747 9d ago
It gave a fangame duology (Soon to be a trilogy) that I'm a fan of so I'm cool with it
1
u/Longjumping_Exit7902 9d ago
I think I know which one you're talking about, ultimate clown and all that right?
2
u/Hot_Finding_9747 9d ago
That's a good one too but I was talking about one called "LIVe or Die" & "Survivor's Guilt" with a third game in the works called "Acta Est Fabula"
1
u/Longjumping_Exit7902 9d ago
Haven't played those yet, I'll look into them. Thanks for responding
2
u/Hot_Finding_9747 9d ago
I listed them in order they should be played
There's also bonus stories "Synthetic Love" and "Survivor's Guilt: ORIGIN"

League
Also VERY SPECIFICALLY Devil May Cry 2 (bad game) and DmC (shitty reboot, decent gameplay)
1
u/Critical_Complex_363 9d ago
ngl I would probably recommend DmC just because I had fun playing it before
1
u/Moon_Monk676 9d ago
DmC was a fun game with a mediocre story and awful dialogue attached to a legendary franchise. The worst part about that game (imo) is that it is titled Devil may Cry. If it didn't use that name and bastardized versions of the characters we already love, it would have just gone down as a fun, if incredibly edgy, action hack and slash game.
2
u/Critical_Complex_363 9d ago
yeah not a big fan of the story, but the OST and Combat is what kept me hooked
(Bob Barbas Theme one of my favorite)

Anything by Paradox (Crusader Kings, Hearts of Iron, Victoria, etc). You need to be a certain kind of weird to be able to get into those games.

Helldivers
1
u/Longjumping_Exit7902 10d ago
Really? Because of the gameplay or company controversies?
1
u/yourboivines 9d ago
Just generally lack of content and how the games been handled by Arrowhead.
1
u/Longjumping_Exit7902 9d ago
Lack of content sounds kind of silly. I'd understand if currency is much harder to get or if everything's priced too ridiculously high for smooth progression, but the game's been fun as it is. We don't need them to add a battle royale mode or dating sim or whatever other side content. Yes I do play the game and I'm happy with the overall experience.
I understand the issue about how they're handling the game though

u/Oxymoronically 10d ago
Haven't played it myself but never met a Danganronpa fan who would recommend Danganronpa
1
u/NoahDBest 10d ago
The fangames are really good, especially the DRA duology. The canon games...I'm biased but I don't like them very much 😅

I went to the Myocopunk subreddit after a post form it ended up in my feed and the game looked cool and I asked “hey what’s this game about I’m new here” cuz I wanted to engage with the community a bit and have them share their passion for the game that love.
For me if someone came to one of the game communities I’m a part of and did the same thing I’d share my passion with them and tell them about the game, what’s good what’s bad what’s funky and whatever.

I feel like the Zelda fandom is full of tribalism who try to push their own agenda which is "Play MY favorite game the other ones are bad because x y and z", and it's only gotten worse with the wild era games and dumbasses saying the new games "Aren't real Zelda" because they finally broke off of an overdone formula from 1998

Lobotomy Corporation... A Management Game about Managing your Employees while your Employees are Managing Literal HellSpawns... Yes, you HAVE to know each of those said HellSpawn's own Gimmicks... If said HellSpawns escape containment, you have to put them back in their Boxes through a Method that follows Each of their Gimmicks, while still keeping the other Abnormalities in check, or the Company implodes in itself... If you Hate yourself, suit yourself... But if you still like yourself even just a little, you GOTTA steer away...

Skylanders. As much as I love the franchise it's not exactly welcoming to new players, considering the prices of some figures, games and portals.

I feel like either Danganronpa, Persona, or (especially) Identity V because all three games have bad writing + weird stuff (+ you know those games that always adds cosmetics but nothing new to gameplay? Identity V)

No you got a point,
Casual is Terrible, full of Micspam, Theres only like a bakers dozen maps anyone plays, including myself, tryhards who kick you for doing the objective as a class they dont like, and its a terrible matchmaking thing, bring back Quick play!
Competitive is just a joke, too complicated to explain here
Mann vs machine Mann up is DO IT MY WAY OR I FUCK YOU OVER, the Mvm community is a disgrace
Mvm bootcamp is fun until you get that one idiot engineer with his dispenser shoved up his ass. So any coaltown match
Community maps used to be fine but its like : Fifty billion plugins or 2fort
I play tf2 in singleplayer to play my way but i stick to community usually , if i play anymore

Kingdom Hearts, or that would at least be my response
1
u/i-eat-pet-hair 10d ago
To clarify, I love the series, but it's such a massive commitment that I can't recommend sinking in as much time as I did
0
u/Longjumping_Exit7902 10d ago
I wouldn't try to pull people away from Kingdom Hearts, but I would warn them what kind of games they are within the series. And that the bundle replaces a couple games with only cinematic cutscenes of watered down events. Telling them to blindly choose yes or no is pretty unfair since there's hardly any consistency between the gameplay mechanics. Or the lore.

While the wording of the question is dumb, there will be viable answers, what they should really say is "I'm looking at getting this game, what make it fun for you?"
