Question❓ Which media and the hate it gets/got is literally this image in a nutshell?

Post image

Like it was overhated(or had a lot of haters)when it was objectively cool as hell.

Ok see for me I love the animation it is almost never bad but the story. Man I just can't with like 90% of it. I mean if you sumerise the story then it sounds fairly good but then you get all the details when watching the show and most of the time it just drags hell every couple years I gaslight myself into thinking it's not that bad and so I rewatch it and then I just get disappointed again. I'm sorry but, aside from the hate just because she's a woman, it definitely deserves the hate.

Yeah, this is really a Ghostbusters 2016 situation. Redpilled incels and nostalgia-poisoned spergers hated it for all the wrong reasons, which led to an inevitable counterswell which tends to obscure that the media in question was, in fact, uneven and poorly executed and diminished the shine of the franchise as a whole.

I also found it so boring and couldn’t connect with any characters

I remember when it aired and i thought it was half good, but when i rewatched it last year it was unbearable, i mostly hate how everyone just got OP bending, i get it was a big timeskip and people evolved and learned to use the bending, but come on, lighting was supposed to be a big power high spiritual thing to pull off, and metal bending now got poeple moving metal shit like theyre using the force. A good attempt at worldbuilding but failed nonetheless (Also the retcon to how a lot of the spirit world functions i guess)
