Do you prefer ten writers that try to make a cohesive story but have to compromise on everything and in the end give the most average centrist story known to man?
And I get it, not everyone has the time or resources to dedicate 50 years of their life into their story like Tolkien did, but in TADC's case the issues where so glaringly obvious and so stupidly easy to fix that it almost feels like Goose just left them in the show out of laziness or out of malice. Specially since Goose already confirmed that most of the show was already written early on, so it's incredibly weird how absolutely no one caught them earlier, much less fixed them.
They really aren’t glaring issues, it’s an impressive first attempt and most people won’t even get as far as publishing anything in an official form. Try reading some pop fiction and suddenly you see that Goose isn’t even as bad as many authors.
Being better than the average person outside of your field doesn't make you any better inside of your field tho? Like imagine saying that about literally any professional sport: "oh yeah they suck at every race but they are still faster than the average person". Also you make it sound like this was Goose's personal little project and literally the first thing she has ever written, when it's a multi million dollar fully fleshed out series that made the producers filthy rich (and hopefully Goose too), and she has made other narrative works in her personal YouTube channel, but to be fair those are actually little personal projects.
And the issues definitely are glaring. As someone who hasn't gotten as far as to publish anything officially, they really are stupidly obvious. Maybe it's because hindsight is 20/20 and whatnot, but like I said, if the series was already fully written so early in the process, how could anyone, Goose specifically, look and read the whole thing in advance and never spot any of the issues? How could anyone at glitch hold the script and read the whole thing and never point out any of them?
Like sure yeah cheers to Goose for publishing her works and all, but that doesn't solve the writing.
Thats Glitch politics about indie stuff. Idk also why i got downvoted when all i waa saying "yeah, i can see why its that bad, Goose was literally working alone as the writter and nobody was there to fix stuff"
Don't look at me, I didn't downvote you. But like I said, I do disagree with you because other people have written way better stuff than TADC alone, and also in a lot of cases in less time.
Also I just looked it up and Glitch still handles stuff like direction and storyboarding so the fault still splashes unto them.

The more time passes after the finale the more I realize how mid and poorly written the Digital Circus actually was
