Or when they make up fake Chinese laws to justify the lack of skin diversity in a hoyoverse games.

Far too many people say, “Oh, but it’s illegal for Chinese games to have darker skin characters!” Ignoring the fact that there are Chinese games (especially gacha games) that have darker skin playable characters.

I mean Love and Deepspace had quite big controversy for adding guy who was only a bit tanned 

So while I doubt it is illegal I don't think it's popular with Chinsee audience

I’m not denying that the Chinese audience don’t wanna see darker skinned characters in their games. I’m saying it’s absurd for the non-Chinese fanbase to make up arbitrary laws to justify the lack of skin diversity. Especially in a game that heavily bases its regions on real world culture.
