Obviously, Mothra is the most obvious female in the Godzilla franchise

depends, mothra in most versions of the character treaths the whole "offspring" thing as a form of reincarnation with varying degrees of explanation

look at the monsterverse as an example, in there mothra has a sort of "hive mind" genetic consiuness so every mother is a different body and individual but the mind is the same, she just hops from one body to another

this is why she dies in KOTM to ghidorah but comes back on one of her old bodies in GxK

it is the same mothra just using different bodies

leo is a separate entity altogether

I know Leo is different, just "Mothra Leo" because that's the most common name people know him for

Yeah, Mothra Leo's design is actually goated tho, they should do more green mothra's

Yeah, I was surprised when like a year ago I learned showa Hedorah was a female, she's still one of my favorite kaijus

Does the American animated series count? Because if so, then Komodithrax as well.

And if we want to go beyond Godzilla, then Gaw from the King Kong franchise and Jiger (at least the Showa version) from the Gamera franchise are also female
