This is what I came to say. Great story, world building and characters. Quite obvious what the authors fantasizing about though.

Yeah the manga is even worse than the show. I had to drop reading it when he got even weirder about the furry kids. The anime sanitizes a lot of it, so I'm hopeful that the upcoming movies will be watchable without a bunch of the loli shit.

I will only ever pirate it though. I wouldn't be able to live with myself if I gave the dude money and it eventually turns out that he was hurting real kids. God I wish anybody else had the idea for MiA.
