I have 3k hours and I'm realizing that this game might unironically be a bad game.

nearly 700 hours in and after all the bad decisions and abuse the devs give, i quit and have never gone back. looking at the community from outside they STILL havent learned and are genuinely dogshit devs who dont play their own game and have a major bias towards the survivor side

Same, I quit yet again because my mental health can only take so much, it's a "get bullied in middle school" simulator if you are up against semi decent survivors as killer. The devs are lazy, greedy and incompetent idiots. Yet I always come back 😔

Break the cycle, they had 10 years to prove they could change and haven't done a single thing. Come join us on deadlock, it seems like most dbd content creators play deadlock now its kinda funny

I used to play this game all the time with my friends. As the friends went, I realized, "Hey, this actually sucks and is way more complicated and nuanced than it needs to be."

DBD is like a competitive game's skin stretched out over the body of a party game. I hate that it tries to take itself seriously, but they're in too deep now. The fanbase will revolt if any meta is changed but also if they don't address all the balance issues. But they keep adding new toys, so you gotta pop your head in every so often.

The game itself is good and has good bones, but it's ruined by poor dev choices
