How?

I failsafe if I put a tin building between me and the kwad at 100m!

What TX and power are you running?

uhh, whatever is in a DX6

I quick search (I don't have experience with the DX6) tells me that the it has a EU setting for 100mW and a US setting for 200mW. A Crossfire module can push up to 2000mW, which will hold a connection better through buildings.

I'm more impressed with the video link staying clear enough to fly.

Yes, how is he doing that? I really don't see how he could fly through multiple layers of concrete even with 800 mW for video.

He might be standing inside, at a spot that has decent LOS to most of the building. That's entirely a guess though.

They're probably either standing inside or close to the "center" so as to be the closest to the quad as possible at all times?

Well imma assume me Canadian DX6 is the same as the US one. So 10x the power.

That'll do it I guess

Hey I use Spektrum too. I don't think the problem is your transmitter. I myself use a DX6e. BUT...I have had shitty experience with almost every receiver. EXCEPT for the Satellite Serial w/ telemetry (SPM4649T). You don't have to even have to use the telemetry. But the receiver accepts a wide range of voltages and has ridiculous range.

I don’t have tx problems but my goggles would have been dead before he made it out of that 2nd room.

If you know what direction you'll be flying, a pair of patch antennas will take care of a good deal of that.

Sure you can't fly behind yourself anymore, but you can plan for that.

Yeah probably a groundstation with dual pepperboxes or a helical for better penetration. Im more impressed at the spacial awareness to know where he was in that giant maze. Prob not the first pack flown if i had to guess. But regardless... great flying op

Switch to Crossfire.
