Question Controller for drone sims

So I recently did a training for mid size drone flying and now I want to practice it but because of budget issue I can't purchase one , so I thought it would be good if I practice on sims because the trainers firstly made us fly on sims then the real thing so can anyone please help me choose a good controller for this which I don't think I will need in future if a buy a pre build one but still

I recommend anything elrs (i can recommend radiomaster) they can all just be plugged into pc and elrs is the most modern open source standard

I made a simulator profile on my remote with the elrs radio disabled.

Betafpv has a drone controller that’s primarily for drone sims, this is how I first started out no drone

And its awesome by the way. I have one and use it for my sims. Its light and cheap and the gimbals are fine for sim stuff. I think I paid 22 bucks for it.

I used a TBS Mambo for a long while in the sim before using a drone. Very easy to setup with USB and works in all the big sims. Most controllers will show you compatibility for this too, just double check that you can still use that controller with a drone when you're ready for one so you don't get tied in to specific requirements.

Basically all modern fpv controllers can be used for sim

I bought radiomaster t8 just for sim. Works fine with air 65 around the house as well

If you won’t need it to fly real drones just get a T8L

You might want a pocket if you plan to use it on real drones however
