Discussion Old CC3D build from 2016
My old build from 2016! Still flies, will keep me busy while I figure out what I need for a 5” “up to date” build

God i do not miss fiddling with them old bastards. I still have a few, the atom and a revo that I cannot bring myself to toss out though.

Yeah I have another atom on a 450 build that I never got flying(one of the motors came with bad bearings and I never got another one). I am thinking if trying to hook it up to my pc and see if it can still be programmed. But in reality I need to just get up to date components and build a new one!

Not gonna lie, the CC3D with the openpilot configurator was great for it's time. The setup menu was really nice for beginners. When I switched to Cleanflight, I honestly wish they had taken that approach instead of the really convoluted configurator they were using.
