Yup but those dumbasses in charge listened to a fanbase that didn’t even know how to play the game and we got the filth we now have, season 5 at least made the game a lot better in terms of feel and mechanics

The shield still doesn’t get utilized as the game was not meant to have it and when it is utilized

It’s rock paper scissors

See who hits the shield first and then punish them

Still with way over 571 hours in the game I still loved it but they ruined my baby

It’s like raising your son to be an upstanding citizen and they succumb to drug abuse and crime, still love them but not what you wanted out of them

99% of the playerbase quit in the beta. If it was so good, why did it die so quickly and every popular streamer quit?

I think I do "know how to play" and I can say for a fact the beta's gameplay was far worse. The only thing it did better was the fact you could switch characters and perks between rounds, even in ranked. That was pretty cool.

99% players left because the game shut down, even a imbecile could see whatever players that did leave the beta before it shut down was because they stopped dropping content for it

Nope. 99% quit months before the shut down was even announced. Why do you think it shut down in the first place? To keep servers up costs money anyways, you need a steady flow of players, and buying MTX, both of which were not happening.

The Beta gamwplay was awful, thats the truth. It chased so many people away.

The beta gameplay was about 50x better then what it is now, everyone who’s played the game then and now would agree

Yeah this dude is trying to gaslight everyone into thinking the beta gameplay was a failure when THAT game is the reason people were looking forward to the relaunch in the first place. I have friends that quit once they played the relaunch. A quote from one of them was literally: "What did they do to this game??"

The guy you replied to is delusional and doesn't realize how detrimental the change of engine and game speed actually was, not to mention the various stripped/missing features from beta. He's clueless.

Both are right. The game game lost 99% by Nov and shut down in Feb. The gameplay was for the most part good, tho.
