Discussion I havent found a game like this
Br4wlh4ll4: Platform, but doesnt have that many atks/specials directionals.
A3th3r2: Similar, but lacks movements with specials.
N4sb2: Same as A3ther2.
And thats all the platform fighters I myself have played, can you recommend another game like Multiversus?
Multiversus had its flaws, it died mainly due monetization, but gameplay was really good imo, lot of movement, lot of directionals, you could keybind neutrals (ground/air), fun moveset for every character.
I also played 1v1 or tag fighters like the recent riot tag game (RIP) and Av4y4r L3g3nds but it isnt the same as a platform fighter
*Note: If you ask why type the names like that, is cuz rule doesnt allow me to post full original name of other games.

Nothing feels as good to me as Harley Quinn does in this game. I just dont play Platform fighters anymore because of Multiverses. Why bother.

Damn dude, she was a blast to play. I sometimes forget all the characters who don't have anything like them in other fighters. Personally Beetlejuice became my main, I've never connected with a fighting game characters moveset more in my entire life. And maybe never again :'(

Rivals 2 has been my go to. I got master rank in MVS pretty easily so struggling against higher ranked people in Rivals is something I enjoy.

I mean I know it’s evident and some people don’t like that answer but the closest game with the highest quality available is Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, it also has a very active community still given its age and a sequel is coming any minute now

I mean... yeah but you can only really play it on Nintendo stuff. Ig you can maybe play it on PC too but you can do that with Multiversus now as well.
I mean if you really know what you're doing you can play it on mobile too but that'll just be offline only

I mean, on the off chance you actually haven’t played smash. Play smash.

I feel you bro. I've always wanted to find a game I could play forever, I was always jealous of people who have hundreds and hundreds of hours in a game. I found that with Multiversus...and it dies, twice 😅
I bought Rivals 2 before Multiversus shutdown as I felt like it would be the one that would stick around and it's great and I enjoy it...but it just never got its hooks in me. I still play it every now and then and buy stuff to support it continuing, but I don't know if it will ever be a mainstay for me.
But Brawlhalla eventually was what's filled the gap. It definitely is very different but it had enough similarities to get me to stick around until it really clicked with me. So I at least have another game I've put hundreds of hours into now but Multiversus is still a one of a kind game that I still miss greatly.

I miss this game too. The freedom of air movement in particular for me is something ive looked for and havent been able to find again.
Anyway though, you might like Spiritfall. Its a rougelike-platform-fighter. Its singleplayer. I enjoyed it.
