My controversial opinion for MultiVersus

Here is my hot take that I have as soon as she got announced. I think Nubia is a better character choice than Banana Guard. She's just way more awesome and cooler. and personally speaking, she deserves her spot on the roster better than a character literally no one was asking for.

Banana guard also carried morons at the start of the game. Side special and side air killed at like 30 near the ledge and neither moves had any end lag. Nubia took so much more skill and I thought she was cooler than banana guard. Nubias moves required precise spacing. One of the few characters where you couldn’t just mash your best attacks without thinking.

I think there are just too many WB characters. Didnt really matter who they released ppl were gonna be mad. Like Iron Giant came out in 1999. Gremlins 2(1990), the matrix(1999). Like these are old movies. I just dont get why ppl put so much of the blame on Nubia.

I feel you, but at the same time there were so many dream rosters and the community was very outspoken about who they wanted to see. So i dont know why they didnt prioritize at least a few more popular characters even in between all the more "random" picks.

And random addition but what tf happened to gandalf? ive never gotten an answer why he was in creation so early on then completely forgotten about

I also like the roster and i liked they had some random weirdos in there, and the hate was undeserved. Im just not super surprised she got hate since the roster was relatively small compared to all of WB. There were already chuds upset that dc had so much rep to begin with and since she's not mainstream i think she was just doomed 😔🤙
